Qiviut Twinset Pattern

by Barbara Albright

Directions for this project in The Natural Knitter, shown below. This classically styled twinset is great for warmer months or for people who are blessed to live in the warmer areas of our world year-round. The Merino wool and silk blend of Gloss makes the pair a whisper of comfort you'll be happy to wear for any occasion. The vest is worked in the round from the bottom up using short rows back and forth within the ribbed sections of the pattern to make the scalloped edges and then continued up with the armholes divided and bound off in the pattern. The cardigan is worked back and forth in one piece from the bottom with the scalloped edges being created in the same manner as the vest. It is divided at the armholes and the stitches are placed on hold until you have completed the rest of the cardigan. Shown in Gloss Parsley.
