Tam O'Shanter Pattern

by Knit Picks Design Team We love the tam. It can be traditional or modern, but it always adds a certain jaunty flair to any outfit. When they get really fancy, we find they are almost too pretty to wear, and start to ‘save’ them for special occasions. This one is meant as an easy, everyday hat, one that you’ll toss in your pocket without a second thought. If you are very careful with your yarn usage, you should be able to get two tams from the two balls of Essential Tweed, if you swap C1 and C2 for the second tam, so you can make one for yourself and one for a friend. Shown in Black and Flint.
